Delivery Dispatcher

Job Description:
The Cannabis Delivery Dispatcher is responsible for managing all aspects of delivery logistics to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant order fulfillment. You will coordinate driver assignments, create efficient delivery routes, and act as a key point of contact between drivers, customers, and management throughout each shift.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for maintaining communication with drivers, monitoring real-time progress, and resolving any issues that arise while ensuring full compliance with state and company delivery regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispatch and track delivery drivers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment

• Assign routes using GPS/dispatch software with a focus on efficiency and compliance

• Maintain real-time communication with drivers to resolve issues or delays

• Monitor order queue and prioritize delivery assignments

• Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery ETAs and updates

• Ensure compliance with all state and local cannabis delivery regulations

• Handle delivery logs, manifests, and ensure proper order documentation

• Answering phone calls for placing orders and questions regarding products.

• Report incidents or customer complaints to management promptly

Qualifications:

• Previous dispatch, logistics, or delivery coordination experience preferred

• Cannabis industry experience a plus, but not required

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Proficient with computers, tablets, and dispatch/GPS systems

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Must be 21+ with a valid government-issued ID

• Must pass background check in compliance with state cannabis regulations
